We were stung by Air Paradise, a family of 4, 4 adult tickets, then we had to purchase 4 adult tickets with Garuda, two weeks before we left in December, close to $4000 extra, yes our travel agent had a good go at our unfortunate situation, they actually made profit on the Garuda tickets. Then when we got to our accomodation, Bali Padma, we had 4 dinner vouchers that were not honoured. Our agent said the vouchers were a mistake, when they had told us prior we were entitled to them, and they issued them!! We will NEVER book with the agent again. Every year my family (my sister's family and my family) spends$15000-$20000 with the agent, and have done for over 6 years. We have forgotten 'the free dinner', and the 'inflated garuda tickets', and the double commisions the agent received AP & GARUDA, but we have not forgotten to NEVER go back to that agent. Word of mouth is definately the best advertisement for great service, just as word of mouth is the best warning to prepare/protect potential customers. It pays to look after the clients you have instead of finding new business!!! I love sharing information about great businesses and products! People like to be warned about 'shonks'.
