I, too have just bought a 12 month ticket to Bali for June 21st and will apply for a 60 day visa here in Sydney at the Indonesian Embassy at Maroubra. Just like I did in December 2004.
The visa is very easy to get, but it still is up to the immigration in Bali as to whether they let you in, which they usually do anyway.
I am hoping to fly to Singapore on August 17th and renew the 60 visa with an agent in Singapore.
