You have been speaking to my wife (Fisho girl) and she asked me to responed to you, Not sure about your first question, but I would say if you looked in the centro in Kuta there is a store down stairs that sells original ones abit like JB hifi, but bali version, now for the second question,
I bought my playstion over there already chipped and got two controlers and 10 free games for around $300.00 aus, that was on the 3rd floor in Ramyana he is a nice little bali man, dosen't speak to good english, but enough to get you through.
If you already have a playstation then you can take it over there and get it chipped for around $30 aus, most of the DVD shops will do it for you, but be carful I have heared of these burning the lazer out when getting back to aus.
So my suggestion would be BUY one in Bali, its about the same price as Aus and hey, games are only $1.20 and you can play original games from OZ on it also.
