Cats in Bali

We had an Ocicat but he went on one of his walkabouts last April and hasn't returned, sadly. In Bali last September we saw cats which looked just like our AshCat - slim, elongated body, long limbs, very agile, huge pointy ears, long snout, short grey fur with strong black stripes and spot markings. On our return I did a few googles for cats in Bali - the "Balinese Cat" is a fluffy almost Persian critter.

Does anyone know if the cats we saw are a distinct breed? If so, what are they called?
