that have bands / singers are " Glories " On Jalan Legain it's North of Melasti st about 1/2 way between Jalan Padma & Rum Jungle rd.It has good food & prices & they also have jug of cocktails available at reasonable prices. They have been going since 1975 so I think that's a good sign.Their ribs & burgers are yummy as well as seafood. They do free transport if you phone them before on 0361-751-091 if the Glory wagon is busy they will tell you to get a taxi & will pay for it.You then get a ride home in the bright yellow open air buggy- which is fun.The place has a good atmosphere.
Another place we like with live entertainment is " Mama's German restaurant" - on Jalan Legian on the beach side before you get to Melasti St,it's very close to McDonal's & the Legian Paradiso hotel is almost opposite. You can't miss it, & it's open 24 hours a day. They have a billard table & live music upstairs. The toilets are absolutely spotless. Some of the favourites are Snitzels, roast pork, ham hock/pork knuckle, beef stroganoff & their snags are really yummy.Got nice burgers & hot dogs if you have kids with you. They have a good size menu so we often have problems making a choice.Don't forget to try their potato salad & the saukerkraut but keep in mind they do big serves of most meals.Overall good food at reasonable prices. They also have Bintang on tap ,which some say is better than in the the bottles !
Phone number 0361 -761-151 .I believe they will also do takeaway from 10am >11pm & they have a fridge with a nice range of small goods you can buy. They also have some special accreditation of certificate of being " food safe " from the Indonesian & Australian govenment & make a comment on this on their menu's.They also have their own butchery.
They have a web page but I don't think we are allowed to post links.
Almost forgot - another good web page to check out might be "Bali Eats "
