I have been using Vero, through Westpac for years.
Recently found that you can actually purchase it cheaper through GIO.
Spoke to Vero. They told me the reason was that GIO & Vero are part of the Suncorp Metway group and therefore the commission rate is less but the policy is identical in every way.
In my case the cover was $5 cheaper than Westpac (it was not for travel to Bali. Not much but it all helps.
