I have to agree with you about the grounds at the Griya. I miss the fish pond as when it was there that area did look and feel Balinese but now with the above ground pool it could almost be anywhere. Yes, the regulars, like myself, do notice the difference in price but as it now seems to be always full I suppose they can charge what they want. They have certainly made a difference to the rooms. That little cafe was just being finished when I was there in December. There had been talk about changing the beach pool to an infinity pool and perhaps that was why they put in another pool.
